Victory!

We just had a big victory in court! A parent had made untrue allegations about the other parent and got the children taken from that parent on an emergency basis (no notice). The parent hired me and a few weeks later we had a court hearing with witnesses and evidence. Shortly after, the judge issued a ruling giving my client back the children. While it's great to take a victory lap, I feel much of the credit goes to our state and our country. We have open courts where the average person can take on opposing forces and win based on the facts and the law. Seeing due process working gives me pride as an American. I wish more people could see what I see!
